For Teens and Young Adults
The Somatic Reset
🌱 A Healing Space for Teens and Young Adults Who’ve Had to Grow Up Too Fast
An 10-week somatic-based group coaching program for adolescents navigating trauma, emotional disconnection, and developing their own identity.
“My child is wise beyond their years… but I can tell they’re carrying pain they don’t know how to let go of.”
If your teen has experienced trauma and never really had the chance to just be a kid—you’re not alone.
This program is designed for teens and adolescents who:
Experienced significant trauma or disconnection from their caregiver in early childhood
Have developed a “false maturity” to stay safe
Feel responsible for others' emotions and often neglect their own
Struggle with anger, grief, numbness, or connecting with how they feel
Intellectualize their feelings but can’t feel them
Are deeply afraid their trauma will define the rest of their life
And you, the parent or caregiver, have already done your own healing work—and now you’re ready to give your child what you never had.
🧠 Why Traditional Talk Therapy Often Isn’t Enough
Many teens in therapy know how to “say the right thing.”
They’ve learned to perform. To manipulate. To survive.
But performance is not healing.
This group coaching program uses somatic experiencing, emotional integration tools, and identity reclamation practices to go deeper than words—because healing from trauma starts in the body, not just the mind.
✨ In This 8-Week Program, Your Teen Will:
✔️ Build a healthy sense of identity separate from trauma and caretaking
✔️ Understand how their nervous system works so they can spot triggers before reacting
✔️ Connect to emotions safely instead of detaching or shutting down
✔️ Learn how to identify trauma bonds and toxic dynamics in friendships, dating, and school
✔️ Release repressed anger and grief without shame or fear
✔️ Explore their real interests, boundaries, and voice
✔️ Build a relationship with their body and learn tools to ground and self-regulate
✔️ Understand that asking for help isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom
💡 How It Works:
8 weekly 90-minute sessions (via Zoom or in person)
Led by a trauma-informed, somatic-trained coach who speaks with teens, not down to them
Small, safe, and intimate group (6 participants max)
Tools include: somatic regulation, nervous system education, creative expression, guided journaling, and peer reflection
Designed to feel like a safe container, not a classroom or therapy office
👁 This Isn’t About “Fixing” Your Teen.
It’s about helping them come home to themselves.
You may have spent years trying to make things feel better for your child—therapy, specialists, alternative modalities. Maybe some worked… but something is still missing.
This is that missing piece.
We help teens stop narrating their trauma and start moving through it.
With tools that will last them a lifetime.
✅ Results You’ll See As a Parent:
More regulated and responsive behavior at home
Less explosive or withdrawn emotional reactions
Increased self-awareness and ability to name needs
Healthier boundaries in relationships and peer dynamics
A deeper sense of confidence and emotional resilience
🔐 The Long-Term Impact
Your child will walk away with a toolkit they can access forever:
🧠 Emotional intelligence
🦋 Nervous system literacy
💬 Boundaries and communication skills
🧭 A sense of agency over their life
💗 The felt experience of “I am safe, I am whole, I belong.”

🚫 Who This Program Is Not For
To maintain the safety, integrity, and effectiveness of the group, this program is not a fit for every teen.
This group is not a replacement for clinical therapy or psychiatric care. While it is deeply healing and trauma-informed, it is not designed to address severe or acute mental health crises.
This program is not appropriate for teens who are:
Experiencing active psychosis, hallucinations, or delusional thinking
Struggling with active addiction or substance dependence
Exhibiting suicidal ideation requiring crisis intervention or hospitalization
Diagnosed with severe untreated psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, severe bipolar disorder in a manic or depressive episode)
At risk of harming themselves or others
Unable to participate in a group setting due to significant dysregulation, aggression, or lack of emotional containment
⚠️ If you’re unsure whether your teen is a fit…
We welcome a free 15-minute parent consultation call to help you assess if this space is the right match. If it’s not, we’ll do our best to refer you to an appropriate level of care or support.
This program is a powerful complement to healing work, but it’s not a substitute for clinical treatment when that level of care is needed.
